Emily & Cody’s Intimate Desert Elopement at Tanque Verde Ranch
On April 27, Emily and Cody traded the cool air of Canada for the warm golden light of the Arizona desert—and it couldn’t have been more magical. Their elopement at Tanque Verde Ranch was the perfect blend of romance, elegance, and laid-back joy, shared with just 12 of their closest family and friends.
The couple chose to celebrate their love surrounded by saguaro cacti, rustic desert trails, and a sunset that set the entire landscape aglow. Emily looked breathtaking in her lace desert wedding dress, and Cody couldn’t take his eyes off her. As the sun dipped below the mountains, they held each other close, with her veil catching the last bits of golden light—pure southwest wedding magic.
Dinner was set under the trees, where long reception tables were dressed in soft linens, neutral-toned florals, and tall glass candles that glistened in the fading light. Every detail of this intimate desert wedding was simple, intentional, and warm—just like the couple.
